From all of us here at Freja Designs, here's wishing everyone a fantastic 2011 ahead!

For all of you that came down to Takashimaya for our Christmas Sale, thank you very much for your support! We had great fun and it was nice to get to tell everyone personally, the story behind our brand. (and also to share the Swedish chocolates with all of you, we hope you liked them!)

It seems like our Silk Chiffon and Printed collection as well as the Cardigans were popular among our customers.. Thank you for the feedback! In an upcoming post, we will show you a range of unique ways to wear our Cardigans, (we have come up with a total of 15 ways so far) so do watch out for that :)

2011's gonna be a really exciting year for us and we are also going to be available in a lot more hotels with brand new displays. We will be updating you on the new locations in the upcoming weeks :) Meanwhile, we are still having our end-season sales at Not In the Malls so hop on over and do some shopping!

Christmas @ Takashimaya

We are going to be at Takashimaya Level 3 from 9 to 23 December, 10:30am to 10:30pm!!

We will be showcasing our latest silk chiffon collection, samer jewelry as well as our luxurious range of elegant scarves.

Come visit us and indulge in our Swedish Chocolate Tasting only on our Launch day on the 9th :) We hope to see you there!

The Long Awaited Series

.. Presenting our Silk Chiffon Collection ..

 

Our newest collection of silk chiffon scarves are made from stripes of silk carefully crafted and sewn together by hand with silver thread. A delicate process that requires the most experienced of hands, it takes one  more than a day to complete a single scarf. Due to the nature of the process and the exquisite materials used, there are only limited pieces of each design.

Each scarf is made of two matching colours, with the exception of the black one which we thought would be our classic piece. As the textile is very thin, these colours melt together when the scarf is seen through the light.

These elegant scarves are available in:

 

- Glacier: grey with blue tone grey
- Grape Wine: dark brown with dark purple
- Ivory white: beige with off-white

- Champagne: white with rose pink
- The Classic: black

This collection is now available at The Other Store at Mandarin Gallery and Style:Nordic at Orchard Delfi.

Christmas is drawing near!

As we inch closer to December and the festive Christmas season, you'll be happy to know that we are going to have our new collection of Scarves out just in time!

So whether it's a gift for your lovely mom or your gorgeous girlfriend, you'll be able to find something elegant and pretty for your deserving lady. Have a browse through our online store at NITM and we will update you on further sales that are coming up!

We hope September has been going great for everyone so far! Isn't it scary how time just flies past us? Sorry we have been a little out of the loop this month.. We have been busy with the preparations for launching our new collection, setting up the new website (yes! very exciting revamps) and also a very big thing that has been taking up a massive amount of our time......... 

You get the idea ;) So after a few years at our One Tree Hill office, Freja Designs is relocating! Shifting slightly to the east side of Singapore this time, we will update you on our new address shortly :) Meanwhile, for any other enquiries on our products, you can still reach us at our email address info@frejadesignsstudio.com

Photoshoot!

So we had our photoshoot for our new collection of scarves recently and it was soooo tiring but of course it was also a lot of fun :) We had lovely Sara and Victoria as our models again this time round as the last shoot that they did for us got such rave reviews! 

Monica had to do both the make up and the styling of our models so it was very very hard work indeed. But the end result looks fantastic and we can't wait to reveal it to you guys so do stay tune for the unveiling that should happen sometime in October! 

The make up that was used on our models was proudly sponsored by 'Hey Gorgeous!'. Putting on make up has never been more fun with their range of sexy black lacquered brushes lined with sparkling Swarovski crystals. As ladies, we all like our bit of glamour & glam :)

Singapore Celebrates!

9th of August 2010 marks the day that Singapore turned 45!

Since Freja Designs Studio has been here for almost 4 years, it's almost like home to us. So, Happy Birthday, Singapore! We hope everyone enjoyed their long weekend and the amazing fireworks display! We were lucky enough to catch the rehearsal fireworks from a gorgeous viewpoint at 1-Altitude.

This is the view you get from the 63rd level, quite breathtaking huh?

While we love Scandinavia and it's glorious nature, the city skyline of Singapore holds a special place in our hearts too :) So from all of us here at Freja Designs Studio, we wish everyone a Happy National Day!
